Caught the Heron Islander for our transfer from Gladstone to Heron island.

Spent most of the first day doing some bird photography. Very windy with rain at times. Slowly coming to understand the best way to set up the Canon R5 camera for bird photography.

Spent the day concentrating on bird photography and video. I’m really impressed with the ability of the Canon R5 to track the moving target. In the Servo AF mode it locks onto and tracks the target really well. The animal eye detection is impressive.
