The Anangu people have lived around Uluru for many thousands of years and for them it is their home and a place of great cultural significance. It is also one of the most recognised icons of the Australian Landscape and as such is important to all Australians. Most of the time the rock is blessed with clear blue skies, but for a photographer clear blue skies are not so much of a blessing. So when the weather forecast predicted clouds at dawn we were off to Uluru for one last time to take advantage of the light and the early morning clouds.
